09/09/09 The grand opening of Katsuya by Stark at down town L.A. Live
Long awaited grand opening party of Katsuya L.A. Live was combined to benefit AFTER -SCHOOL ALL-STARS. Programs that support inner city youth succeed in school and in life. Derek Fisher of L.A. Lakers, Sam Nazarian of SBE Entertainment and our own Chef Katsuya Uechi hosted this event. The guests enjoyed performance of Taiko Drummers and Kagami Wari Ceremony (Sake Barrel Opening).
A delicious sushi, sashimi and Katsuya specials were served all you can eat buffet style along with specialty cocktails sponsored by Corzo Vodka.
